Logging in and your account

Below are the questions we get asked most often, with a short answer and a link to the article with the full explanation. Can't find your question? Ask the AI assistant or check the knowledge base. If you still can't find what you need, submit a ticket (Submitting a ticket).

Why do I need to enter a code when logging in?

To protect your account, we always ask for a second step after your password: a six-digit code that we send you by email. See The login code by email (two-step verification).

Can I use an app instead of the code by email?

Yes. You can link an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or 1Password. You then enter the code from the app. See Using an authenticator app.

I've forgotten my password. What now?

On the login screen, click Forgot password and follow the steps. You'll receive a link to set a new password. See Setting, changing or forgetting your password.

The email address of my account no longer exists. How do I get in?

We can only send a new password to an email address that's already known to us. This prevents someone else from taking over your account. In that case, contact us via the ticket form on the website (Contact without an account (guest ticket)), and we'll work out together how to confirm that the account is yours. If you can still log in, change your login address straight away (Changing your login email address).

Can I log in with Google?

Yes, if your Google account has the same email address as your WebOké account. We'll still ask for a code in that case. See Logging in with Google.

How do I change the email address I log in with?

You do this under Login details. Your login address is separate from the address where you receive our messages and invoices: you change that under your details. See Changing your login email address and Changing your details and invoice address.

I stayed logged in on another computer. How do I log out there?

Under Login details, you'll see all your active sessions. Log out of the session remotely. See Viewing and logging out active sessions.

Can my web developer access my account without my password?

Yes. Invite them as an additional user and give them only the permissions they need. See Inviting users and setting permissions.

I have several WebOké accounts. Do I need to log in each time?

No. From each account, invite your own email address. After that, you log in once and switch between your accounts in My WebOké. See Multiple accounts: switching between accounts and Inviting users and setting permissions.

How do I update my address or invoicing details?

Under My Administration, under your details. See Changing your details and invoice address.

Can I download my data or have my account deleted?

Yes. See Privacy: downloading or deleting your data.

I can't find an email from WebOké anymore.

You can find all the emails we send you again in My WebOké. See Reading back received emails.
